Follow the steps below on how you can link your Instagram page to a Facebook page in order to connect to your Social Media platforms for RateMyAgent to post to your Social Media 😊

To connect your Facebook Page and Instagram account, you'll have to log into your Facebook account on a computer and then follow these steps:

​Facebook

1. Log into your Facebook account using your personal email address and password.

2. Once logged into your Facebook homepage on a computer, click on the Pages tab.

3. This will show you what business pages are connected to your Facebook account.

4. You will need to click on the Facebook account that your Instagram page is currently linked to. This is one way that you can access your Pages on your Facebook account. If Facebook is prompting you for another way to access this then follow their prompts and continue with the following steps once you get to your Pages section.

5. When the page opens up, you'll need to click on the Switch button so you can access the page's Professional Dashboard settings.

6. You'll need to select Professional Dashboard and you'll need to click on Linked Accounts and click on Instagram

7. You will need to click on Disconnect Account to remove the incorrect Instagram account linked to your Facebook page currently.

8. Once this account has been disconnected, you will then need to connect the correct Instagram account to your Facebook settings. Click Connect to continue.

9. When you click connect, it will prompt you to accept the permissions and then click Confirm.

10. Enter your Instagram login details then click Log In to sign in.

11. Facebook will show you a confirmation box where you can click Done once connected.

RateMyAgent

Once this has been connected then you'll need to Disconnect your Instagram account from RateMyAgent

1. Go to 'Social Media' and select 'Customise' then scroll down to the Accounts section. You will need to disconnect the current Instagram page from RateMyAgent by clicking on 'Disconnect' next to Instagram.

2. Still in the Accounts section, click the Connect button next to Instagram to log into your Instagram account where the correct Instagram page should appear for you to select in order to connect it to your RateMyAgent profile.

3. If the connection is successful then the Pages in the Instagram box should display Pages (1/1) and if you click that, it will show you the Instagram account it's linked to which should be the page you have just linked.
​

4. Once your Instagram account has been reconnected, you'll want to make sure that you double-check your Social Media schedules for all social media platforms and posting categories by clicking the Edit button to adjust these. You can also switch the toggles on or off for the posting categories you wish to have post automatically and the ones you wish to disable.

Also good to check that the Timezone appearing is correct for the area you live in by adjusting this in the Preferences section.
